Is it possible to ship to a pickup point with Cash On Delivery?

We recommend offering COD for courier delivery only.

The proven COD setup on Shopify is to create a separate shipping option dedicated to COD (with the COD fee included in the shipping price, since Shopify does not allow charging it separately) and to hide payment methods based on the selected shipping option, using a payment method hiding app from the Shopify App Store.

Why courier only?

Our app adds the nearest pickup points as separate shipping options in checkout. Applying the setup above to pickup points would require showing each point twice - once with prepayment and once with COD. The app does not support doubling the list of points this way, as it would be confusing for customers.

COD to a pickup point without an extra fee

If you do not charge a COD fee, or you are willing to absorb it, you can make COD available for pickup point delivery as well - simply do not hide it for pickup point shipping options. InPost pickup points in Poland support COD shipments, and the customer pays in the InPost app when collecting the parcel.

Our app does not modify payment methods - it only adds pickup point shipping options.
