If this is your first Shopify app, here is everything you need to know about how app charges work - how much the app costs, who charges you, and how refunds work.
How app billing works on Shopify
All app payments are handled by Shopify, not by us. We never see or store your card details. The app fee is added to your Shopify invoice - the same invoice that covers your Shopify subscription - and charged by Shopify according to the billing interval you choose: monthly or yearly.
You can see all app charges in the Shopify admin under Settings → Plan → View all subscriptions.
Invoices for app charges are issued by Shopify. We do not issue invoices ourselves, and we do not offer billing outside of Shopify.
Pricing
The app costs 19 USD per month or 192 USD per year (the equivalent of 16 USD per month).
Prices are set in USD. If your Shopify billing currency is different, for example EUR or PLN, Shopify converts the charge to that currency at its own exchange rate. The exact amount on your invoice depends on the exchange rate at the time of billing.
Carrier Calculated Shipping
To use the app, your store also needs Carrier Calculated Shipping (CCS) - a Shopify feature that can be enabled in a few different ways, some free and some paid. See: Carrier Calculated Shipping (CCS).
Total cost examples
The total monthly cost of using the app depends on how you enable CCS:
| Shopify plan | App | CCS | Total per month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Grow, billed annually | 19 USD | 0 USD | 19 USD |
| Grow, billed monthly | 19 USD | 20 USD | 39 USD |
| Advanced | 19 USD | 0 USD | 19 USD |
The amounts cover only the app and CCS. Your Shopify subscription and InPost shipping costs (based on your contract with InPost) are billed separately. With the yearly app plan, the app cost drops to the equivalent of 16 USD per month.
Free trial
The app comes with a 10-day free trial. The trial starts when you approve the subscription right after installing the app. If you uninstall the app before the trial ends, you will not be charged.
The remaining trial days are preserved when you reinstall. For example, if you started the trial 2 days ago and uninstalled the app right away, you will still have 8 trial days left when you install it again today. If you tried the app in the past and would like another trial, contact us.
Uninstalling the app
Uninstalling the app cancels the subscription. Shopify does not prorate the current billing period - a charge that has already been added to your Shopify invoice will still be collected.
Refunds
Refunds are possible within 30 days from subscription activation - that is, from the moment your paid subscription starts after the free trial ends.
Two things to keep in mind:
- We can process a refund only after Shopify has actually collected the payment from your card and the invoice is visible as paid on the Shopify side. If the invoice has not been paid yet, we have nothing to refund.
- The 30-day window counts from subscription activation, not from the day your card is charged. Shopify sometimes collects payments with a delay, so for example we will not be able to refund a subscription period from 2 months ago, even if Shopify charged your card yesterday.
